We had been dating under the radar for over a month now and things were amazing! We were still in that honeymoon stage, exploring each other's minds and bodies. I would visit her almost every evening and just hang out! Read books, tell stories, we'd have pet play dates. And not to mention a lot of making out.

As we progressed she couldn't keep her hooves off of me! It was as if I unlocked some hidden sexual tension inside her that caused her to treat me like I was irresistible. Needless to say, it was a huge confidence boost. I would always tell her how cute and pretty I thought she was and she would reply with lowering her head shyly and giggling, which made me want her more. Everything was perfect. But I felt a bit guilty I hadn't come clean to Pinkie yet.

I had told Pinkie about the crush and whenever I'd see her she would constantly give me these looks; like what was going on. I'd insist I'd tell her later but always forget. I wanted to tell Pinkie the truth, and I wanted to bring Fluttershy with me.

"I don't know, Rainbow Dash..." said Fluttershy as we were standing outside Sugar Cube corner.

I turned to her, a small smile on my face. "It's okay, Fluttershy...trust me. You know how Pinkie is." I said.

She nodded. "Exactly. You know how Pinkie is. I don't want her to blab it to the whole town..."

I tilted my head. "Why?" I was a bit confused. She and I knew we were really into eachother, why keep it much of a secret any longer?

She hesitated but responded nonetheless. "I'm just..you know I'm a very conservative person, Dashie...I just don't want all of ponyville up in our business..."

I sighed, I did know how she was and I knew this wasn't easy for her. But I pushed my point, gently of course. "I just want one of my closest friends to know how happy I am. Am I so bad for wanting to show you off, cutie?" I asked, placing a wing over her.

She gave a small smile and shrugged. "I...I guess not..."

"That a girl...now come on in.." I insisted, walking slowly in with her.

Inside, I could see Mrs Cake at the front counter, she greeted us as we walked in. "Hey you two! Pinkie will be right back! I had her run and get some cream for our icecream!" she said.

And just as Mrs Cake looked at us, Fluttershy stepped away from me, gently shoving my wing away from her.

Ouch.

I wasn't expecting that, but at the same time I should have. Because I knew how she was, and she didn't want all of Ponyville to know. I shook the thought away and carried on.

"It's cool, Mrs Cake!" I replied. "We'll wait for her to come back." I turned to Fluttershy. "Would you want icecream? We can help Pinkie make it!"

Fluttershy nodded shyly. "Y-yes..." she loved icecream.

Mrs Cake nodded. "Alright! I'll be right back, ladies. Have to check on the twins. They're taking their nap! If we have customers tell them to wait?" she said.

We both nodded and replied in unison. "Okay!"

As soon as we heard the hoofsteps up the stairs, I turned to Fluttershy and moved in slowly to kiss her on the lips. She didn't move in, but didn't push away my kiss. She kissed back and pulled away first, moving her face away from mine.

"Dashie....I'm sorry I'm being so difficult.." she apologized.

I shook my head. "Fluttershy don't worry about it..if you want I'll do all the talking."

She gave me a reluctant look, but nodded. "Okay, Dashie...I trust you."

We stood together for a few minutes, walking around the store and looking at all the sweets. "Gotta be honest, I don't eat many sweets. I'm trying to keep in shape for the Wonderbolts! But some icecream wont hurt, right?" I asked, looking back at her.

Something weird happened, she looked at me, sort of narrowing her eyes and gave a small nod. I tilted my head, confused. What was wrong?

"Fluttershy...what-"

"HI EVERYPONY! I'M BACK!" I could hear a shrill and cheerful voice from the front of the store. Pinkie had bought cream and was carrying it back on her..well, back.

"Oh! My friends! Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash! What are you doing here?" she asked, happily hopping back to the kitchen to drop off the cream.

I looked to Fluttershy, who now had on a happy face on. What was all that earlier about? "Uh we came here to chat and to have some icecream if that's okay!" I said to Pinkie.

Pinkie nodded happily as she hopped out of the kitchen. "Well of course that's okay! Oh, I've got to make it though! I hope you don't mind waiting! Say why don't YOU two help me??"

I looked to Fluttershy then back to Pinkie, nodding. "Actually that's what we intended to do! Guide us how to do it, Pinkie!"

She gleamed happily, hopping to the kitchen as Fluttershy and I followed. "You ever make icecream before, Fluttershy?"

She shook her head. "Nope."

"I guess it'll be a first for both of us." I said, smiling.
